/Geoffrey Meyer

Geoff has spent the last seven years working in the development and fundraising arena. He began his career in residential real estate sales with the now-named Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach Realtors where he spent 30 years. He also spent 6+ years as owner and operator of Geoffrey A. Meyer Real Estate in Chester Springs.


Geoff grew up in Fort Washington, PA and began his swimming career at the Fort Washington Swim Club and has been swimming ever since. He participated in the Fort's Summer Swim League till he was 18 and was a member of the La Salle College High School Team for 4 years and is a member of La Salle College High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Geoff earned a swimming scholarship to La Salle University where he participated in Division I swimming for 4 years and attended the Division I NCAA Championships in 1971 and was a conference champion nine times during his collegiate career. Geoff took a break from swimming for 30 years to raise his family but is now involved in masters swimming on a regional and national level as a member of the Colonials 1776 swim team.


Upon leaving real estate, Geoff spent 5 years as the Director of Institutional Advancement at the Regina Academy at St. John the Baptist in Northern Bucks County and upon leaving this assignment joined the VFAC as Director of Development.


Geoff currently resides in Devon and spent many years living in Kimberton and Chester Springs. He is the father of three children and grandfather of eight children.


Geoff brings energy and passion to the mission of the Valley Forge Aquatic Center and is dedicated to seeing this world-class aquatic center come to life. His commitment to making this center a reality knows no bounds and is a legacy that all involved will be proud to see accomplished.
